Step 1 – Care and Preparation

Every person entrusted to Aquatorium® receives the same respectful care as they would before a traditional cremation.

Identity checks are carried out with the highest level of accuracy, and your loved one is carefully prepared before being placed into a specially designed water cremation vessel.

Throughout the process, strict procedures ensure dignity, security and complete traceability.

Step 2 – Water Cremation

The vessel is filled with warm water and a gentle alkaline solution made from naturally occurring minerals.

Heat, water and gentle circulation work together in a carefully controlled environment to accelerate the natural process of decomposition.

There is no flame and no combustion.

The process is quiet, peaceful and carried out with complete respect for the deceased.

Step 3 – A Natural Process

Water cremation simply speeds up a process that naturally occurs over time after burial.

The soft tissues are gently returned to their natural elements, while the mineral structure of the bones remains.

Step 4 – Preparing the Mineral Remains

Once the process is complete, the remaining bone minerals are carefully dried and processed into a fine white powder.
